*Station Interruption* for Pirate Day

We currently interrupt the regularly scheduled program to inform everyone it is "International Talk Like a Pirate Day," an important holiday formed back in 1995 according to Wikipedia. To celebrate this important holiday, I think everyone needs a pirate name. This holiday is almost as fun as Festivus!

Parr! "Paraplegic Guideon Jones" here! Me parrot, Crackers, and me think this holiday is better than a buried chest of treasure. To celebrate, we plan to double our Vitamin C intake for the day to stave off that dreaded scurvy. Shiver me timbers!

And even better, I managed to make it home from a day of lootin' just in time to watch the tail end of Eye-Gougin' Bella Bonny's new talker. (That's "Tyra Banks" for you non-sea-farin' folk. Now walk the plank and swab the deck, or something!)

Yarrrr, even pirates like Tyra. I should report you to the Pirate TV Viewing Council and see if that makes their list of approved pirate shows.

Tyra is fierce. The high seas are fierce. Pirates love the high seas. Therefore, pirates love Tyra.

How's that for pegleg logic?

My nom de piracy is Keel Haulin' Javier Slaughter. I'd have my name legally changed, but Keel Haulin' Javier Slaughter don't need no stinkin' court order!

I feel obligated to add, "Arrrr! Avast me, hearties!" Have I done my job?

goddess needs a pirate name, methinks!

Paraplegic Guideon Jones and his parrot pal, Crackers, agree! Identify ye-self smartly, goddess, or forever be assumed a land-lubber.

To quote the great Jerry Seinfeld: "...(whining)but I don't wanna be a pirate!"
