Fair trade?

I ain't talkin' NAFTA, folks.

No, I'm referring to a recent deal between media conglomerates Walt Disney Co. and NBC Universal that sent "Monday Night Football" announcer Al Michaels packing to NBC in exchange for the rights to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald the what? Exactly.

Oh, the indignity!

Oy vey! I wanna know who Oswald is and why he's so valuable. And, I wanna know if this was manufactured by Steve Jobs (in his new position with the Walt Disney peeps). Perhaps Oswald will be the new star in the next Disney-Pixar flick!

Oooh...good catch on linking the Pixar deal to the recovery of the rights to this Oswald thing. Maybe he'll play the evil villain in Toy Story 3. He looks kinda criminally insane to me.
